Our day today started early at Gunn Highschool with a 7:50 game vs. Norcal (a Northern California all star team).  The girls started out slow and a little in awe of just being at the Junior Olympics. 
 
 a tough 15-0 loss, they improved each quarter.  Ashleigh Pilkerton had four saves in the goal and Kacey Brunson had one. 
 
Game 2 Davis won 19-2, but that score is not reflective of how well we actually played.   Katya Soot and Breann Kinsey each had one goal, Ashleigh had three saves and Kacey had two.

 

Friday July 31, 2009

7:00 am Houston 2 WVWP 8 Scoring two goals each were Jennifer Rodgers, Kristin Bronson, and Breann Kinsey.  Katya Soot scored on a 5 meter and Nicole Green scored on a man up. 

 Kacey Brunson had 7 saves and Ashleigh Pilkerton had 3.

Our second game at 10:20 was against Sierra Nevada, a team made up of girls from Nevada, Utah, and one from Colorado. 

Sierra Nevada 11 WVWP 4 

Scoring one goal each was KC Kruesi, Kaitlin Glenn, Kristin, and Jennifer. 

Kacey and Ashleigh each had one save.

Our last game of the day started at 1:40 and was against Puget Sound. 

Puget Sound 6 WVWP 2. 

Goals were made by Jennifer and Kaitlin. 

Kacey and Ashleigh each had four saves.
